The Rules of the Road – Pay Attention and Follow Traffic Signals
“This appears to be a case of someone not paying attention to the road and unfortunately, it led to tragedy on all fronts. Truck drivers are professional drivers. They are held to a higher standard due to the size, weight, and danger associated with commercial vehicles. In today’s world, there are too many distractions – cell phones, text messaging, adjusting music, and so on. Truck drivers must be vigilant in staying alert and attentive of what is front of them and around them.”
What Should I Do When I Or A Loved One Have Been Involved In A Trucking Accident?
“In the wake of such a catastrophic event, it is critically important that key evidence is not lost or destroyed – including, witness testimony, dash and body cam footage from responding officers, dash cam from the truck involved, hours of service logs for the at-fault truck driver, electronic black box data from all vehicles involved, vehicle inspections from the at-fault truck, toxicology reports, etc.”
