On Monday, June 13, 2022, at around 2:15 a.m., 75-year-old Georgette Buff of Irmo, SC was driving her 2016 Jeep Patriot near mile marker 147 in Orangeburg County when she was rear-ended by a 2000 Kenworth tractor-trailer. Buff eventually succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday, June 15, 2022. The accident is under investigation.
