Unsafe Truck Driver? Chasen Thompson Arrested after Killing Two in Crash Involving Six Vehicles
South Bend local news reports that the driver of a semi-truck was arrested following a six-vehicle crash. Indiana State Police say that traffic had slowed due to a work site. The semi driven by Chasen Thompson failed to slow and crashed into several vehicles.
Eric Klein and Jacqueline Luczak were killed. Donna Tirva, Lena Tirva, Delilah Tirva, and Dolores Kallas were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Thompson was arrested for possession of marijuana. The investigation is ongoing.
