Dump Truck Drive, Daniel Darrel Howes, Killed in Towing Accident
Local Greenville News WYFF and WSAV report that a fatal towing accident occurred on Saturday, March, 19, 2022 at 3:26pm near Lawton Road in Greenville County, South Carolina.
54-year-old Daniel Darrel Howes of Greenville, SC was the driver of a disabled dump truck. Two individuals used a Ford F250 to tow the disabled dump truck, but a chain broke loose causing the dump truck to roll down a hill, striking and killing Mr. Howes. Mr. Howes passed away just before 5pm.
