Man Opens Fire at Conway Gas Station 

In March of 2025, the Conway Police Department reported that they had arrested a man after a shooting incident at a gas station. The 49-year-old defendant was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and unlawful delivery of a pistol.

After receiving reports of gunfire, a responding officer witnessed two men running from the gas station. One day after the hookah lounge shooting, a man was arrested for allegedly trying to sexually assault a 13-year-old girl at a Myrtle Beach restaurant. The girl’s mother works at the restaurant and regularly takes her child to work. The girl seems to be an acquaintance of the defendant, as the assault allegedly occurred when she was saying goodbye to him at the back of the restaurant. According to police, the attempted assault was caught on camera. Like the girl’s mother, the defendant works at the restaurant.
